Trapped - for Anthony
Jun. 21st, 2019 11:39 pmThe sudden change in weather is disconcerting enough, never mind the weird disappearances and the weird-- things running around. Billy is keeping an eye on those closest to him, and that happens to include Guy Burgess. He braved the weather to get to Dimera while Frank went to check on Regan. Billy doesn't know how he amassed people that he cares about, but it's happened and now he's dealing with the consequences - the fear of losing them.
He steps into the elevator and presses the floor he wants. The doors are about to slide shut when someone else joins him.
It takes everything he has in him not to make a sour face when Anthony Blunt appears and the doors slide shut. It's fine - he can survive a brief elevator ride in silence, though it has not escaped him that they're going to the same place, unless there's someone else in the building that Anthony plans to visit before he goes home. It's fine. They've managed to pathologically ignore each other before, the can do it again.
